Two Rivers Title Company, LLC was formed in May 2003 and has grown steadily since its
inception. Based in Little Silver, New Jersey, Two Rivers is a title and escrow company
providing settlement services to the majority of our clientele which consists of law firms and
lenders. Owned and managed by two experienced real estate attorneys, Matthew Cohen,
Esq. and Leslie Howard Cohen, Esq., the company is run like a law firm, with high standards
for work product professional appearance and attitude towards our clients and the public
as well as a level of expertise based on decades of experience in all facets of real estate and
insurance.
More than just a title company, Two Rivers frequently provides assistance to our clients
to resolve bankruptcy, estate and foreclosure issues. We have established a reputation
as a high quality agency which has steadily grown throughout its existence, including the
recent economic downturn. We have been able to attract some of the highest regarded law
firms as clients and have also been attract and retain some of the most experienced title
examiners and paralegals in the State of New Jersey. We focus on providing a complete
package to our clients to ensure that their closings run smoothly.
Technology
Two Rivers has invested heavily in hardware and software systems and utilizes available
technology to strengthen quality and shorten turn-around time and frequently provide
a more extensive search then that required. We believe that a 60 year search may be
inadequate depending on the locality and likelihood of older restrictions, mining rights
etc… We do not charge extra fees for this level of service but always work to protect our
clients. We maintain a database of searches performed and can provide searches, binder
and policies in a variety of electronic or paper formats.
Regional Title Company
As we have grown, we have carefully expanded into providing title and escrow services in
other States. We are now a regional company, licensed throughout the Mid-Atlantic region,
including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Maryland and
Virginia, as well a Florida and Louisiana. As we continue to grow, we will maintain our same
commitment to providing excellent service and high quality support to our clients.
Security and Stability
We offer the security and stability you need. Two Rivers Title Company, LLC has been
able to secure underwriting agreements with several of the oldest and highest rated Title
Insurance Companies in the United States. We have current underwriting agreements with:
- First American Title Insurance Company
- Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
- Westcor Land Title Insurance Company
We also maintain a $2,000,000.00 E & O policy malpractice insurance, as well as various
fidelity bonds.
Our Staff
Our staff consists of some of the most experienced title examiners and paralegals, most with
20 40 years experience in the real estate and title industry. We regularly handle residential and
commercial files which involve bankruptcies, foreclosures, subdivisions, estates, condemnations
and utility easements. We are also experienced in issues relating to riparian rights and the public
trust doctrine.
Two Rivers Title Company extensively cross-trains its staff, providing greater flexibility and
knowledge in all phases of insuring and closing a transaction. In addition to residential and
commercial transactions, the Company frequently provides title agency services for new
construction, commercial rehabilitation and utility right of way acquisitions. The services
provide include: searches and examination, insurance, lease review, document preparation,
permit review, and escrow/settlement.

Kenneth Sikorski regularly investigates title for rights of way, easements and acquisitions for
